PERSONAL AND EFFECTIVE LEGAL REPRESENTATION
If you are looking for an attorney or counselor who will personally and effectively represent your interests, please consider the qualifications of John Jabro. Mr. Jabro has been providing his clients with personal, high quality, professional legal services since 1983. His legal career began in Sarasota, Florida, with the Office of the Public Defender. In 1986, he was offered and accepted the position of Chief Assistant for the Upper Keys Division of the Office of the Public Defender for Monroe County, Florida. After rising to the position of Chief Assistant Public Defender for the entire circuit, Mr. Jabro went into private practice in January, 1990.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Jabro has developed his legal skills primarily as a trial lawyer and worked with a wide variety of clients, from individuals to Fortune 500 companies, on a broad range of business, personal and related matters. Mr. Jabro's philosophy is to provide legal counseling and legal representation to clients in a personal setting and not merely on a 9 to 5 basis. It is Mr. Jabro's habit to work evenings and weekends and to accommodate his clients and meet with them or speak with them telephonically at those times if necessary.
As a President of the Upper Keys Bar Association for the last four years, Mr. Jabro has often stated "in a small legal community such as ours, it is certainly a great benefit to all of us to establish a rapport with the court, with other attorneys, with our clients, and with members of the public so that we are able to relate to each other, not only as adversaries, but as citizens of the Florida Keys in our attempts to make our community a better place to live".
Mr. Jabro was admitted to practice law in all courts of Florida, at both trial and appellate levels, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He received his law degree with honors from Detroit College of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit. Mr. Jabro practices in the areas of general, civil and commercial litigation, corporate and business law, which also includes personal injury cases of all types, criminal defense, building, planning and zoning law, administrative law, and cases dealing with condominium and timeshare law.
